Best NRFI bets for July 4th
Coming off a 2-0 sweep yesterday, SBR's Dustin Saracini is back with his best No Run First Inning (NRFI) bets for Friday, July 4th (40-26, +8.07 YTD):

Milwaukee Brewers vs Miami Marlins (-125 at FanDuel)
Quinn Priester (3.35 ERA) vs. Sandy Alcantara (6.98 ERA)
NRFI record: Brewers (48-39) vs. Marlins (43-42)

"Can we interest you in a struggling Alcantara to keep our momentum going? Yes, we are riding this ace (and a surprisingly hot Marlins team) as part of our best NRFI bets today. He's dominated this Brewers team, holding Rhys Hoskins (9-for-41, 34% K), Christian Yelich (1-for-6, 28% K), and William Contreras (0-for-6, 33% K) to some measly numbers across his career. We're taking him to get us three simple outs.

Priester is coming off his best start of the season by a long shot, firing seven innings of one-hit, shutout baseball against the Colorado Rockies. He's allowed just six runs across his last 27 1/3 innings - that'll play for us. Let's keep the fire lit."

San Francisco Giants vs Athletics (+110 at DraftKings)
Justin Verlander (4.26 ERA) vs. JP Sears (5.09 ERA)
NRFI record: Giants (42-46) vs. Athletics (48-41)

"A plus-money play as part of our best NRFI bets today? Let's get crazy, we're riding on a high right now.

Our old man Verlander is also riding a little bit of a high against the Athletics, holding them to a .189 batting average across 61 plate appearances against him. Lawrence Butler, Tyler Soderstrom, and Brent Rooker are a combined 3-for-14 versus Verlander, which is something we'll take considering the value we're getting. Buckle in for some balls in play, let's hit some gloves to get us three outs.

Sears is also a wild card, but he looks pretty good in this matchup. Over 55 plate appearances (we love big sample sizes), the Giants own just a .257 xBA, with Rafael Devers, Willy Adames, and Mike Yastrzemski hitting a collective .166 against our right-hander today. I think we may have extracted a ton of value on America's July 4th. Let's make it four straight wins."
