I had Royals in this game, but god damn didn't think it would be this easy. Assuming it goes 7, gotta think Royals win it all. Not crazy about Guthrie in game 7, guy was a gascan all season but he has been impressive this postseason.

it would be better, but i can see KC beating Madbum tomorrow. i know hes a road warrior and all, but this is the 2nd time they see him - at home, they will get a few and take it all...

agreed...
actually, just read this: Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday that he prefers to hold Madison Bumgarner out of Game 6 in order to have him available for 2-3 innings in a potential Game 7.
Bochy said that Bumgarner could pitch Tuesday if the club needs "a really big out," but we have a better chance of seeing him Wednesday if the series is extended. Bumgarner threw 117 pitches in Sunday's shutout, but it's all hands on deck as the Giants shoot for their third World Series title in five years.
holy shit - this is tragic....guy was going to be an absolute stud
Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak confirmed Sunday that Oscar Taveras and his girlfriend were tragically killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic on Sunday. Details are sparse at the moment, all that is known is that Taveras was driving with his girlfriend when his car veered off the road. Wet roads may have played a role in the accident. The 22-year-old outfielder and top prospect was set to compete for a starting job in the Cardinals outfield in 2015. Our deepest condolences go out to the Taveras family and the Cardinals organization during this difficult time. Oct 26 - 9:15 PM Source: USA Today

at +103u heading into tomorrow (and will be adding another 4u if KC wins, or 6u if SF wins). Time to go for the jugular;
did the same crap in the ncaa championhsip game and superbowl; went huge in those games (lost) after being up big for the season, and gave a chunk back - still end up nicely ahead but giving back in the final game always leaves a bad taste...
its early, but obviously looking bad...

Giants have gotten every break so far...huddy was lucky to get out of the 1st unscathed honestly. Then the sick/lucky double play by panik prevents 1st/3rd no outs. Then infante falls down on a play he should have made to get panda then panda scores the go ahead run on a jam job bloop by morse. Still like the royals chances myself. Madbum cant finish the game, can he?

-Took a big shot in the championship game, and again it didnt work out (same thing happened in Super Bowl and NCAAB); Is what it is, but im still a big believer in swinging for the fences when hot; Very happy with the final results overall in bases; Thanks to the regulars for coming in and contributing.
