phillies and angels .... any opinion?

I do like the Angels pat, as a big underdog. Bonderman's coming off the DL, and as always, the Detroit pen will be a liability. Santana could get hit, but the Angels' pen is decent. This game should be much closer to even than it is IMO.

The Phils, I don't know about. Willis has been shaky, but I'm not ready to write him off just yet. This is a small line to be taking him, at home, against an average team. Sure Lieber has been good, but the Marlins can have a lively lineup. I think I like Florida at this line.

I can't back Ervin on the road despite the problems in the Tigers' pen.

Phils/Marlins - No opinion, had a slight lean to the UNDER.

I think you have two losers on your hands with those picks. The Phillies have lost the last 7 games that they have faced Willis, their bullpen has an ERA of 6.30 in their last 3, and they are pretty cold right now too. As for Ervin Santana and his 0-4 7.68 ERA stats away from home, I wouldn't put a penny on it. Sorry.
