There were some huge favorite odds many many times for the under and the Cubs in live betting today. Enormous 50-1 odds and higher. I wonder if anyone grabbed them, risking a huge amount trying to win an easy 50 bucks or whatever they were going for. I bet a few people got scotched by that game.

yeah probably...the whole concept of live betting is something I just don't like. I've never got into it...probably never will. Way too unpredictable.

Live betting usually is pretty profitable for me as a hole though double B. However, this year seems to be very different from years past, because I haven't seen so many big time comebacks like this in quite sometime.

I didn't bet live lines but it was the worst beat in one game that I've had in a long time.
Had Cubs +120 and under 9.5 -110. The only good thing is that I stuck with my preset limit, even though I really wanted to play more.

More likely than people getting scotched was the people who grabbed the Mets and the over for a few bucks hoping they would come through (which they did). I have been burned too many times grabbing a few shares of what looks to be a sure winner at $75 or $80 only to have it lose.
