I hate to keep this thread going but I never understand why if a short reliever is shutting down a team, why not leave him in...why go to a "closer?" Ohman pitched 1.2 innings and struck out four batters. Why not let him pitch the 9th? I bet if he had pitched the ninth inning, it would have been a different outcome...
