    Monday's Plays
Here are the only plays that stand out to me:

Chicago Cubs +135 (though Lee left today's game with neck spasms)

    Detroit +140

    Kansas City +161

I liked San Diego when they opened @ -127, but the line has moved and lost a lot of value.

I seen that about Lee. I noticed earlier today that he wasn't even penciled into the starting lineup today either. So, you knew he had to be hurt before the game even started.

Anyways, I can't say I blame you one big taking the Tigers tomorrow. Thats gonna be one hell of a series to watch IMO.

KC with Meche does seem to have some value in this spot.

I'm a little bit worried about that Cubs play though.

I'm leaning toward the under in the Tigers/Sox game tomorrow, although Robertson's career numbers against Boston worry me a bit. That being said, I expect a low-scoring game, and series for that matter. 10 seems a little high for tomorrow.

I cashed on the Cubs today, will wait and see about their situation . . . thanks for the heads up - didn't know that about Lee. Good luck on your plays tomorrow Senator7.

I still haven't made these plays yet. Cubs are up to +138, the Tigers are @ +140, and the Royals are @ +165.

The Cubs scare me if Lee has problems again and I'm not certain Kansas City can touch Haren. The only one of these three plays I might make is Detroit and even that is questionable right now.

Up to +156 now. What is going on?

Is this public money on Boston combined with Matasuzaka hype?

Doesn't really make sense. I don't know what Dice-K has done to warrant being that big a fav. over a really good Tigers team with a good pitcher in Robertson on the hill.

Good luck Senator...i really liked DET yesterday with the way they have been swinging the bats but the overuse of that bullpen yesterday and then heading to an offensive friendly ballpark with a guy like Robertson who can be very good or very bad I just had to pass.

I don't agree with KC but like CHC a lot....i would lean toward SD as well if you could have got that line.

Win or lose, there's a lot of value in the Tigers tonight.

                                    It's not so much that Dice-K is pitching; it's more that's it's:
                                    1. the Red Sox (their lines are inflated in general)
                                    2. the Red Sox at home (even more inflated)
                                    3. they have the best record in MLB right now (even more)
                                    4. Dice-K hype

I bet Detroit for a little myself. But this is one of those games where the 5-inning line had a very different value than the FG line. As we saw a good example of last night, teams with bad bullpens on the road at Boston are always a risky proposition.

If Detroit goes into the 8th with a 1 or 2 run lead, I won't feel nearly as good about it as I would in most other situations. So I do think there was value with Detroit tonight, but more so on the 5-inning line, and I can understand why the line moved the way it did. I modestly disagree with it, but I don't think it's crazy at all, because of Detroit's pen.

at least Chicago lost i guess....the main thing is that your thinking is sharp and it appears that it is so the winners will come in no time....
