5 unit play on Milwaukee ML
The Brewers are not only a much better team than the Nats but the starting pitcher for Mil today (Vargas) is on fire. He is undefeated, completely the opposite of the Nats' starter who is winless, and pitched a shutout his last time out, and allowed only one run in his previous outing. The Nats might be due but not today.

    Play: Mil ML.

Not to say I disagree with the pick, but Washington starter Bergmann has done quite decently as a starter this year. He went into Atlanta and Philly and had 2 better than solid starts. 1 hit and 0 runs over 6 against the capable Atl offense? 3 hits, 2 runs at hitter-friendly Philly? 2 hits, 1 run over 7 vs the Mets? Those are quite impressive starts for a guy assumed to be a scrub.

I hear you, ganch, and if Bergmann were going up against someone with a 5 run era I'd put a little on the Nats. The reality is though that he is going up against Vargas who is almost certain to have better run support than Bergmann. Hope the Brewers can pull it off for me. This is a big play for me. I feel like in poker when you have two aces before the flop. You have to play for big chips with a hand like this.

I can't lay that much wood in a game, but the Brewers is the only way I could even consider playing this game.

I played wash the first two games but not today now watch them win

also wash has a history of playing mil tough not to mention the past 2 and todays game again close

as good as mil has been wash is just that team that gives them trouble

easy to favor wash now tied 1-1 in the 7th huge value on wash right

buztah I hope you hit your play

I also saw this thread late, but I would never use 5-unit play and -200 in the same sentence.

It worked out for you though Buztah, so congrats.

I wish you would have only won by 1, but that WP ****ed me pretty good. The Nats +1.5 were actually my biggest bet of the day.
