Another war of attrition tomorrow: Det/WSox
Detroit's disintegrating bullpen vs the White Sox' disintegrating lineup.

Zumaya's had 3 ugly outings in a row now, I wouldn't be surprised if winds up on the DL next week. And Todd Jones probably doesn't have the arm life anymore to be a week-in week-out closer for the duration of the season. Sure he got the save today needing only one out, but he blew his last 2 save opportunities in ugly fashion. Then after that you got Fernando Rodney, the league leader in losses. Then the only non-horror show left after that is Ledezma. Wow, if Detroit doesn't fix their bullpen problems, they'll be headed down down down the drain.

But the Sox lineup is a shell of what it was last year with Thome and Dye out, and the other former big guns all slumping badly.

    Tough game to call.

The travel schedule for the Tigers has been pretty brutal lately. However, I do find some value with those Motor city kitties today.

I am liking both the Tigers & the Pistons (-2.0) Matchbook today. Pistons are having a hard time covering but I think they will easily pull it off today.
