Never bet on baseball, probably never will, just don't know enough about the teams. But I do have a question hopefully someone can help me with. My local book sends me lines (via text msg) for all kinds of sports. For the last ws game, he sent me the line " PHI 9.5 8.5". What the hell does that mean? When he sends like for football, it's usually in the format of TEAM, SPREAD, TOTAL. Ex: Mia 3 44. But I surely don't think that anyone in a ball game is favored by 8 or 9 runs. Any clues..? Thanks
