Never bring the closer in, in a "non" save situation. It seems to always blow up in their face.

I always love losing by giving up a 6 run bottom of the 9th.

Covers the RL too, go figure.

The funny thing about the Yanks RL coming in is that the string of hits was the ONLY way that this was possible. 9 games out of 10 the Yanks win by one when they rally like that. Simply amazing. I personally had money on the under, crazy game... tough loss but no biggie to me.

Yup, this comes just a few days after the Yanks were victims of this same scenario. Just goes to show how often these "tough beats" happen in baseball. It's always good to keep these things in mind when deciding how much to bet on a play that you "love". I broke even on this one, I had Cleveland and the over.

You have to have a pretty strong stomach to bet sports and espeically baseball. Blown saves are common...this may be a bit extreme but not unexpected.
