This line has value and is also sure to go down, at least to 7.5 at big fave odds.

Hensley was decent at Petco last year, and Morris was great there last year as well (although in 2004 he had one terrible outing there, making his lifetime numbers at Petco a little skewed). Neither offense brings much to the table. Could 9 runs be scored? Sure, but less often than the current lines say it will happen.

I love the over at current prices. Both starters are barely mediocre at best. San Diego has the best offense in the NL, as well as the strongest bench. The Giants' run production is slightly above average (unless Bonds doesn't play, which is always a crapshoot). The only thing keeping the score down is Petco, and that just isn't enough here.

I don't think SF will score a run until mid May.

I agree with RickySteve here. I too lean towards the over in this game.

Are we watching the same teams

San Diego ranks 23/30 in runs scored and a .242 batting average for the season which puts them right in the middle. They may have players, but right now they just have an average offense....certainly not the best.

I like the under and that means the over is a great bet.

Told you to pick the opposite of my gut for totals. You earned at least a push tonight - maybe a win if you took the over.

I'll give you an early over to hammer on WED, TB-TEX because I like the under!
