    how to win at mlb
rules #1 never bet against the streaks if team is losing fade them if they are winning bet on them

#2 never lay more than -160

#3 when you have an old overpriced ace #1 starter like -280 or -320 take the DOG #1 starter no rl i won huge dogs over the years even without internet my local cried having to pay me on a $200 credit bet DOG +260

#4 only locals do this they say you gotta use RL to save money like yankees -2.5 which reduces the dog ml from +180 to +140 i say ok then give me the dog for $500 because your robbing me. HE balked knowing i do not have $500

bases are a ML sport no points to cover my god hit a 2 dog ML your rich like +140 and +160

also if betting favs instead of laying -160 cut it in half to -80 and always full money on any dog

biggest fake on pitchers is the WHIP walks hits per inning pitched and track your teams pithchers like wins after ceratin pitcher loses or after he wins the next pitcher gets cracked

and top straters bull pens have destryed them they pitch perfect 7 innings winning 3-0 and ka pow boom singles doubles and you wind up losing 6-3

Wins, losses, and saves are the most deceiving statistics in all of baseball, especially the save.

A closer can enter the ninth inning with his team up 4-1, give up four hits, a walk, escape with a 4-3 win while getting rocked, and earn a save.

Until the the requirements as to what and what does not qualify as a save are tightened up I'll have little respect for the save statistic.

As a matter of fact I have more respect for the 'hold' statistic, I place more of a premium on the middle reliever that preserves a tie game, or holds the one run lead for the starter who for instance has suddenly run out of gas.

The bridge reliever that preserves the tie game or a slim lead is much more valuable than a closer that gets lit up but still earns a real cheap save.

I have no idea what you are trying to say 'fake WHIP'
You are doing yourself a big disservice if you ignore the WHIP.
WHIP is very similar to OBA.
      It's an accurate metric.

      Pop quiz Billy Boy?
How do you score a run in baseball?
Simple answer, by getting on base.
If you don't reach at least first base, you can't score a run.
The pitchers job is to prevent the batter from reaching first base, conversely, the batters job is to reach at least first base.

Take it from an old HS varsity and D2 catcher, I would like to think I know a thing or two about a thing or two.

You make some good points Bill, and some of your points leave me scratching my head wondering what exactly are you trying so say.
