        No, not the Iron Horse. The Yankees missed the 1924 and 1925 World Series, which were Gehrig's second and third seasons in the bigs. New York did go to the World Series in Gehrig's first year (1923), but Gehrig didin't play.

        And not Jeter as the Yanks didn't make the Fall Classis in his rookie campaign (1995).

              Mo Rivera's rookie season, like Jeter's, was 1995 and the Yankees were not in the World Series that year.

              Orlando Hernandez did play in the World Series in his first four seasons (1998-2001)...but he was not the first major leaguer to accomplish the feat.

              Giuseppe Paolo 'Joltin Joe' DiMaggio was the first major leaguer to play in the World Series in each of his first four seasons in the bigs (1936-1939). I believe Elston Howard (1955-58) was the second to do so.
