thoughts on rays-rangers

likey, went up from +118 in only few hours

had the rangers last nite ml and they showed mr price who's the boss. i think the hot bats continue plus they have feldman going vs garza. feldman is 2-1 in last 3 starts with wins over the angels, dbacks and loss to the giants and in all those games opponents had atleats 6+ runs but the rangers bats were able to stay off the attack

garza is starting for niemann, dnk why but hes coming off 2 striaght W's over the jays and phillies and in both held them to only 1 run.

garza went 2-1 last year vs the boys from arlington while having 9,2,10 K's and giving up only 0,3,2 earned runs.

feldman has a ND vs the rays in his only start vs em and went a solid 7 innings and only gave up 2 runs but the pen blew it and they lost 5-4

i know the sweep is hard to complete plus the rays have a decent guy going tonight but on sunday night baseball and the GENIUS and WORLD CLASS ANNOUNCER that JOE MORGAN is i think the rangers can get it done tonight behind feldman's arm helping him get to 7-2

I like the Rays today. Price lost that game in the first 2 innings, and deflated his teams morale for the game. The Ballpark in Arlington is made for the Rays lineup.

Garza is starting because Niemann is utter trash against the rangers.

Dont lets Feldman's stats mislead you. He cant pitch passed the 6 inning for some reason. The Rays will fest on Rangers bullpen though.

yeah i klnow feldman has a high era liek 3.66, the rays pen has been used alot though like over 10 innings in past 3, while the rangers have been used a little bit i wana say like 7ish??

Very true Chi Arch, but Feldman isn't pitching deep into games, hasn't gone past 6 innings this year. Offensive teams, like the rays, would love to see the bullpen pitchers.

Feldman consistenly puts his team in position to win...... this day and age you give your team 6 strong innings and give up about 3 runs or less and you are very valuable... especially with the rangers offensive output...

accordingly the rangers have won 9 out of the 13 games Feldy has started....

the guy has started 13 games and has pitched exactly 6 innings 7 times
over 6 innings 3 times
5, 5.1 and 5.2 innings once each.... nothing wrong with that... in fact Garza is more likely to pitch under 6 innings if you wanna be honest...

16 starts, and 5 of those he failed to reach the 6th... but i'm not gonna bet the game based on starting pitchers, or and extra 3-5 outs this way or that way


i'm sure the rangers are fine giving the ball to guys like O'day, Grilli, mathis, Wilson and franscisco

one of the better bp's in the league IMO

give me a good home dog, on a winning streak ANY day of the week... LONG term that is your best bet to make $ in bases
