This could be the best signing of the offseason

Eric Gagne could be the steal of the offseason. I just noticed that he signed with Texas for today for a 1 year deal for 6 million dollars, which I feel is a total steal for a guy that puts up numbers like he does when he's healthy.

The only thing that concerns me were the doctors records acurate or "doctored up". There has been a lot of questioning about his health as of late so one does have to wonder. However, I'm sure the Rangers bought insurance on him so I doubt they will get burnt all that bad if that is indeed the case.

If he is able to pitch this upcoming season, then it will be a steal. We will all see. I dont see him dominating like he once did.

I think $6 million may be a little excessive for someone who has hardly pitched in a couple years.
