Pettitte was one of very few quality pitchers (I use that term loosely) left on the market. Personally, I think they should have just made a strong push for Zito instead though.

Nothing really shocks my old fat ass any longer, but I really thought that if Andy was going to pitch another year or two, it would be in Houston. Maybe Houston will explore Zito now
