Not sure if it's just my small sample size because i just started betting on baseball. But I've seen quite a bit of comebacks come in the 9th inning. Several times I've seen teams not score the entire game and then get some runs in the 9th. Or teams that come from behind in the 9th to win the game. Doesn't the closing pitcher come in the 9th, who is trained to pitch just one or 2 strong innings, so scoring runs should be tougher in this inning? This has caused me a lot of excitement and some heartbreak in this inning.

Did you know that teams score much more often in the 1st and 6th innings than in the 2nd and 9th innings? This post examines a few explanations for this phenomenon.

Bro, if you don't know the answer to these questions you should NOT bet on baseball.

For the most part I don't make the picks, I subscribe to a pro's service.
