    NL manager of the year
    Joe Girardi won the award today for NL manager of the year. He had the young Marlins in playoff contention in September and totally deserves the award.

      Agree, and love seeing Loria and the Marlins get egg on their face for firing him.

      Both Girardi and Leyland, who won the AL award, deserved the honors.

          It a real shame nobody picked him up this year. As of now he will be in the Yankees broadcast booth for the 2007 season.

              He could have got a job with the Nationals if he really wanted it. Lets face it though, who would wanna coach that train wreck of a team right now.
