I work with a bunch of Nats fans and even made a small wager with one prior to the series. Wanted to know my chances

Scherzer is 2-5 against the Dodgers with an ERA of 3.75. Not a BAD ERA and Hills versus the Nats isn't any better. I was on the Nats 2 games ago ML and the last game RL, but today I think the Dodgers take it.

Just flew back home from all 4 games in this series. The Nats are extremely focused and determined to win this series. Kershaw is the only thing that has somewhat held their bats in check, he will not be on the hill tomorrow. Lots of pressure on Scherzer to live up to the payday, given that he got touched up last time out, with full rest I think he goes deep in the game tomorrow and throws a gem. I don't see 36 year old rich hill on short rest going in there and quieting the hot Nats bats with what's at stake for them. Bryce, Rendon and the young core have never been past the first round, I think Murph and JW take them there tomorrow. Sammy Solis has been unhittable out of the pen and if dusty would have used his brain yesterday he would have put him in to face Utley instead of leaving Treinan in and we might not be talking about this game.

Rich Hill pretty much shutdown Nationals besides one bad pitch to Lobatan. He will be even better this time around I think. Not a power pitcher, just has to be effective with his curve and locating fastballs. I like dodgers bullpen more as well even though Nationals pen has performed better than them this series. Lots of pressure at home for a team trying to dispel post season demons for Dusty Baker and Scherzer. I like scherzer but his strikeout pitches, his slider and 2 seamer just don't work as well against lefty heavy lineups like dodgers. So, to answer your question, there is a good chance dodgers take this tomorrow and I see alot of value on the +1.5 given they will potentially have an extra at bat. GL Ravens.
