I didn't really think Hoffman had a shot at winning this one at all. I think the voters probably still remember how he blew it in that all-star game.

Must be because of Webb's pre-All Star game performance and the fact that no one wanted the Cardinals to win this year.

I will take Carpenter on his worst day over Webb on his best.
