Without a doubt Donaldson is MVP. The numbers are all in his favour and he's on a team going to the playoffs. Only way he doesn't get it is if the voters get caught up in the Trout is the golden boy of baseball theme. This is Donaldson's year. Trout is a great player and will go on the win many more MVP'S down the road... just not this year!!!

just don't see your pitching holding up past Price...Buerhle and Dickey both have the potential to get shelled hard, both must hit their spots and have great location for potential success.

very good bat, but it's about leading your team, Donalson took the leadership position
from Bautista and Encarnacion, and others.. he's their leader, in his first year.

Cruz is playing with Cano, Trumbo, playing very well, but not leading, not firing up
                          the entire squad.

Donaldson has them the entire outfit firing on all cylinders

WATCH Donaldson hustle to 1st Base... creating a rushed throw that went wide, and pulled 1B off the base

allowing Revere to score, and get the go-ahead.

almost anybody else.. just jogs and is content with tying the game, hoping to win it in extras.

idiot. please observe the difference in the degrees of hustle of these two teams.

                                          A) MVP Donaldson, takes off immediately on a ROUTINE ground out, very low chance of making 1st.

                                          B) MVP Donaldson approaching base, rushed throw off-line by Gold Glove Adrian Beltre

                                          C) Loser Mark Texeira already calling it a day in the 3rd Inning.. not even bothering to turn around.
on a fly to right, not even curious about the play. No interest. I'm sure Girardi talked to him about that.

all pictures here are how these men perform in a tied game in a tight race.

since you know you are beat, you try to drag down and discredit every Blue Jay win,
but this team is great and will win the AL East. Contrary to your moronic predictions otherwise.

i suppose you are just not smart enough to observe the details unless they are pointed out to you.
(and that is not your fault) so i will give you a pass here.

.. but let me give you a hint.. when you are evaluating a team's performance, don't just let your eyes
follow the ball. That will give you a very limited understanding of what happened in a game.

                                            Look at the supporting cast..

"what are the ASSISTING players doing?"... away from the ball

"what is the ENTIRE team doing?"

Before August Trout... after August no doubt Donaldson. Trout has scored 5 runs so far in August. Donaldson 23. Just 1 hr and 6 RBI's for Trout. I think Hosmer is ahead of Trout at this time also.
