    Game 2
    How does Detroit lose tonight?

Do we double up to try and get even?

    Or does Kenny get nailed?

That is if they even play this game. I think it might get rained out.

I can't lay that type of wood even though I feel Detroit is the right way to go in this game.

Todd Jones isn't the kind of guy who would normally stir the pot like this. He's been around long enough to know that crap like that winds up as fodder to inspire the other guy or the other team...

At least Jeff Weaver showed some class in his reply instead of letting the media have their little fun.

                LINK
"There's no love lost here that he's gone," Tigers closer Todd Jones said Friday. "I am not a big advocate of his and I wasn't a big advocate of his when he was here."

How's that for a wild welcome back?

Then again, what would you expect for a guy who didn't look as if he belonged in the big leagues back in June and now is a star?

Weaver, who appeared at a news conference before Game 1 of the World Series last night (as the next day's starting pitcher always does), did not fire back.

"Todd Jones is one of the nicest guys I've ever run across," Weaver said. "If he's got unkind words for me, I don't know what they're stemming from. It's the World Series; maybe he's just trying to get a little jab in here and there. But it doesn't really affect me at all. I've got nothing but good things to say about him."

Oh, and I agree with Razz about the under being a nice, safe pick in this one.

Bad weather for sure. I wont be betting if they play tonight.

Real prick move by Todd Jones. Even if you feel that way, you don't say it to the media.
