I'm a bit surprised that the Cards aren't going to push Carpenter up a day and use him in Game 2. Gonna' take some October magic now having Carpenter and Suppan for just three games instead of four.

Game 1: A.Reyes vs. J.Verlander
Game 2: J.Weaver vs. K.Rogers
Game 3: N.Robertson vs. C.Carpenter
Game 4: J.Bonderman vs. J.Suppan

Cardinals will probably win games 3 and 4, and Detroit will take games 1,2,5 and 6 to win the championship.

Liking St. Louis (and St. Louis team total over) in Game 1, under (8.5?) in Game 2, under (8?) in Game 3, and Detroit in Game 4 (assuming it is at + odds)
