Zumaya comes in and gives them a change of pace. He hits 102 on the gun on his second pitch of the night.

The way he got pitch after pitch on the corner of the strike-zone was pretty damn admirable.

I agree and he also pitched the game of his life last night, so you know he still has alot in the tank.

Kenny Rodgers is nearly unbeatable as the starter on XBox. I've only lost once to my 15 year old with Kenny and now I'm banned from using him . He does have such a beautiful curve ball that is deadly on leftys and about all the rightys can get are opposite field bloop singles.

Seriously, though - Rogers is one of the worst pressure pitchers I've EVER seen in my life.
However, GREAT job by the Tigers. That's how you build a freakin team - with P I T C H I N G.
The Yanks are gonna win 90+ and do squat next year, also.
C'mon sharps, where are you?
PITCHING wins playoff games. I can see mistakes here/there, but betting on the Yanks is clearly betting on O.
Shame shame shame.

I tell ya: watchin Rogers out there was really fun. Was he geeked up or what? Every strikeout he was pumpin fists and yelling outloud. Honestly, I find a competitive spirit like that refreshing when you know it is genuine.
His behavior could be construed as showing the Yankees up but I think he was just so focused. I thought it was great.

Kenny Rogers pitched well last night, no doubt. But he still is a fricken asshole.

In a world where Jeff Weaver can string together a couple of pretty good post-season performances then anything is possible.

Kenny looks un beatable now and the colder weather makes this guy so much tougher, Det is going to be hard to beat in a 7 game series.
