Blue Jays at Mariners - Sep 11th
With southpaws Ted Lilly and Jake Woods facing off in Seattle, look for the Blue Jays and Mariners to struggle to score runs tonight.

We see both teams in today's game struggling to score runs. The Blue Jays bats come into this game cold. In their last series, they played the Angels for three games where they scored only six runs total. The previous series they played the Indians where they only scored nine runs total. That means the Blue Jays have only scored 15 runs in their last six games.

Now the Blue Jays bats will have to face left-handed pitcher Jake Woods. The last type of pitcher the Blue Jays want to be facing is a left-handed pitcher. This is because the Blue Jays have big problems getting hits off of left-handed pitchers, which is shown by their .226 team batting average against left-handed pitchers in their last 10 games.

While the Blue Jays struggle to score runs, so will the Mariners. Just like the Blue Jays, the Mariners bats have been cold. They only scored five runs in their last two games (this says a lot as their last two games came against below average Rangers pitchers). Now the Mariners will have to face left-handed pitcher Ted Lilly. The Mariners are in trouble because they have struggled against left-handed pitchers all season long. It's double-trouble for the Mariners because Lilly has been pitching well as of late. In fact, Lilly has only given up two runs in each of his last two starts (these starts came against talented offenses such as the Indians and Red Sox).

This game is being played at Safeco Field which is also good news for under bettors, as the under is 13-3 in the last 16 games at Safeco Field. It's safe to say that tonight's game will be low scoring!

    Play: Blue Jays/Mariners Under 9

Seattle hosts the Blue Jays tonight, and neither team is a threat to score many runs.

The Jays have played the under in 20 of their last 27 road games. In Toronto's last 30 games, the under is a profitable 22-8.

The Jays' recent power drought is the main reason why they are out of contention. Seattle has played the under in all four of Jake Woods' starts. In the Mariners last 13 games played on grass the under is 10-2-1.

Seattle isn't regularly the favorite but in their last eight as the favorite they have played the under in seven of them.

I'm expecting another low scoring game, play the under.
