    Blue Jays vs. Red Sox
    Blue Jays vs. Red Sox

Boston is having its worst August in 40 years (six straight losses!) and things don't get any easier today.

Halladay is 16-4 with a 3.12 ERA on the season and has been absolutely dominant when the Jays were coming off a loss. On the other hand, Wells is 2-3 with a 4.98 ERA. Wells is also an ugly 5-10 with a poor 5.82 ERA in 20 career starts against the Jays, one of his former teams. He faced them once earlier this season and allowed seven runs and 10 hits over four innings in a 8-4 home loss. Look for Wells to get hit hard once again as the depleted Red Sox continue to struggle for another day.

Wells is always impressive this time of year, so the under is the only smart play in tonights game.
