Phillies vs. Nationals
Look for the Phillies to bounce back big after losing two of three to the Mets.
The Phillies will tee off on a Washington pitching staff that has allowed 71 runs over their last 8 games, an average of almost 9 full runs per game! Even though Armas recently beat Philly he is just 1-4 over his last 6 starts. He has a 7.43 ERA and a .350 BAA over that time frame.

Even though the Nationals had an off day yesterday their bullpen is still reeling. That's because their starters only went 2.2 innings each in both Saturday's and Sunday's game.
The Phils will pound the Nationals pitching and we do expect a strong start from Myers. He is off of a very solid outing at Wrigley Field. Prior to that start, Myers lost to Washington and had a poor outing. However, he has won four straight road starts amd the Phillies are just one game out in the Wild Card race.
