why is ganch's thread a sticky?

i am not causing problems here fellas but i am not a fan of
ganchs analysis being a sticky in this thread. makes me feel
like his picks are more important then others and that isn't
right. i hope someone else has the balls to agree with this

To be honest I don't know what a sticky is, how to create one or what they're supposed to used for. I have no problem with your comments.

What he means by a sticky is- A thread that stays on the
top no matter how many threads are bumped and/or
created. Check it out go to the Baseball section and
see that Ganchrow's thread is LABELED a sticky and
is on the top of the section always..

I don't know -- just call it force of habit. I ("we" really -- I'm referring to my "Handicapper General", the one who actually posts these picks, and myself) have have been posting these 5 or 6 game writeups on a daily basis for several months without fail. We wager on sports professionally and the proceeds of which represent our sole source of income. Honestly we're just hoping to share something with the forum community. If you're not interested -- well that's perfectly fine, too. Certainly, if you ever disgaree with a posted Ganchalysis, I do hope you'd take the time to explain why.

Still, if it truly offends you, we'll stop making these threads sticky. I never really suspected it was so big a deal ...

I read a piece about Dr. Phil and his wife when they came to Boston with their entourage to participate in the July 4th Esplanade extravaganza ... They were obnoxious with all their demands ... Dr. Phil even had his personal hairdresser along ... hahahahaha ... Now we want to make you comfortable here so please list everything that annoys you so the boys can straighten things out to the way you like them.

Do you play the same units on all picks? Could you tell us in the post what units you are playing these for? Or do you post these picks in the baseball picks section with units?

While I have no problem posting fundamental analysis on select games, our specific picks are proprietary.

In the end, it's up to the reader to utilize this analysis as he sees fit.

Indeed. It's at the top of the page so it's easily accessable for everyone. Similarly, it's at the top of the page so that you don't have to subject yourself to the trauma of reading it everyday by clicking on it by accident.
