O's To Top Twins
By: Ross Benjamin
Rodrigo Lopez and his fellow Orioles should have an edge over the Twins and rookie Matt Garza tonight in Baltimore.
Minnesota starter Matt Garza has been shaky in both of his starts giving up 10 earned runs and 13 hits in just 13.2 innings pitched.
The Orioles are hitting .294 as a team versus right-handed pitching at home. Baltimore starter Rodrigo Lopez has pitched very well in his last 3 starts going 2-1 with a 10:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio and a 2.97 ERA. The Orioles have won five of their last six.
With Minnesota in the thick of the AL wild card race and playing a losing team the lines-makers aren’t showing a lot of respect for the Twins. In this particular spot I agree.
Play: Orioles -110
