Anyone else love the Pirates Sunday Morton v. Blanton?

I thought I read somewhere Blanton been pitching well? I dunno havnt capped it but someone's opinion I respect was telling me that yesterday. Of coarse I always think It a good idea to get against angels when they favs, team is so overpriced day in and day out: funny books gave up on tor and started pricing them like their record and they winning whe the keep lining these shitbags like the class of the al. Lol

Blanton has been better but....

He's given up 7 HRs his last four games, Pirates have hit 5 in the last two days. Someone's going yard in him (Pedro Alvarez looks likely 2 HR in 9 AB) and probably a couple of guys. Angels look terrible again they have 3 runs in this series so far, were especially bad tonight getting one run in off 8 hits and 6 walks that's pitiful.

Backing Morton is a scary prospect though surely he can't keep going like he has.

His numbers look good besides the two starts.

been doing horrible last few days! but pirates been consistant! always hate taking road favs. But last few games been getting a steal with a road dog that should be a fav. GL!

Nothing really fishy about it. Like banker said, the Angels have been overpriced basically the entire season. They have so many 'good players' on their team. I probably won't play it, but I don't see why taking Pittsburgh here isn't a good bet.

Well guys Morton is probably the worst pitcher on the Pirates staff.

Not that he is not a good pitcher but he is not as good as these guys:
Locke
Liriano
Rodriguez
Burnett
Cole

and Blanton has been pitching bettter the last month or so....

and the Angels can't lose them all can they?

oh yeah and Angels are better during day games.

bear i think if the angels have proven anything it is that yes they most certainly can lose them all! see lastros 4 gm sweep of them at home for all the evidence you need of that.. honestly if you like laa just pass, you fighting a losing battle paying the prices they charging you on a really bad team, who cares if they win today and you didnt bet them, chances of them losing are almost always greater than lines suggest..

I always get a laugh when I type Blanton into the Fangraphs search box. Only two names show up......ying/yang.

Not sure if Morton's 3mph velocity spike is accurate as shown on above mentioned site. Too much unpredictability on the mound for me on both sides in this one for my taste.
