Cleveland 54% - Seo is in a tough statistical spot here off of a high pitch count, and he may get shelled. If he doesn't, however, he is likely to have a strong outing, which will confer a huge edge to Tampa Bay, due to the terrible state of the Cleveland bullpen. Even though Westbrook has been going deep into games, any exposure at all to the Cleveland bullpen will significantly boost Tampa Bay's chances if the game is close. Promising Tom Mastny will not likely be used after going 2 innings yesterday, and someone else will probably be given a save assignment if it comes up.

Philadelphia 65% - Astacio had a very impressive outing in his last start, but this will be a whole different ballgame. He is not likely to be able to hold down the Philadelphia lineup for long. Wolf may also run into trouble, but he is less likely to than Astacio. In a game that is likely to be decided by who has the more explosive innings, Philadelphia rates a strong edge.

Yankees 52% - Boston is sure to be gunning for a win, but the Yankees are sure to be gunning for a 5-game sweep as well.

It hasn't been only the Yankees that Boston has played badly against this month. They lost 2 of 3 at home to Detroit, a good team but one that has been slumping a bit of late. They were swept at Kansas City, and lost 2 of 3 at Tampa Bay, 2 teams that may be better than people think, but are still among the worst in the majors. Before that they lost 2 of 3 at home to Cleveland, another team with some major weaknesses, and a particularly bad team on the road.

They were able to outslug Baltimore at home for a sweep, but Baltimore only has a modest offense and a sub-par bullpen. This all shows how Boston is playing right now, so it's no surprise they have lost 3 in a row to the Yankees, even after having been ahead at times. In light of all that, the Yankees rate a small edge.
