Sun might shine on Marcum's ass today

This dog has been looking a little better with each start. Granted, he had nowhere to go but up, but Marcum has allowed 12 ER in his last four starts (26.1 IP) for a 4.10 ERA, just four walks and 26 strikeouts. Not great, but not terrible either.

I've always felt Gio gets vastly overrated by the books, especially with Harper out. There seems to be definite value in taking the Muts at +160 tonight, even though grabbing them in the +170-175 range last night was much better. Obviously a risk because it's Marcum and it's the Mets, but the +160 might be a nice reward at the end of the tunnel.

Also take a look at the Rangers and M's.

FF could be a play if you don't want to mess with their bullpen, but Marcum lately has been good for at least 6-7 IP. Let's just hope he's sober tonight.
