Cain vs Peavy - Under
The Giants and Padres complete a 4-game set today in San Diego with the Cain-Peavy battle a good bet to keep the scoring down. San Francisco will be going for the sweep while we are going for the Under.

These clubs went OVER the total last night, but the UNDER is still 8-1-1 in the last 10 San Diego home games, as well as 9-3 in the last 12 San Francisco road contests.
Jake Peavy may be a disappointing 6-11 on the year for San Diego, but he appears to have finally recaptured his fine form of recent seasons. Peavy has now reeled off four consecutive quality starts, posting a 2.05 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 26 strikeouts in 26-1/3 innings over those outings. He has also allowed two runs or less in each of his last five starts vs. the Giants in San Diego.
Now the red-hot Dodgers roughed up Matt Cain in his last start, but the youngster still has seven quality starts in his last 10 outings for San Francisco. He has also been brilliant in three career starts vs. the Padres, allowing exactly two runs while going at least six innings in each of those outings. He is also catching a struggling San Diego lineup here that is batting a putrid .224 as a team vs. right-handed pitching over the last 10 games.
Play: Under 7.5 (-110)
