THURS: Blanton v. The Royals - how do you cap 2 terrible things?

On one hand you have one of the worst active SP in baseball in Blanton (playing on a team that is on fire) on the otherhand you have a craptastic failure of a franchise that is slumping right now.

Can't play the over because I don't know the Royals could hit a 10th grader right now and Santana may limit the damage. But you'd its tough to trust your money on Blanton or the Royals having gone 3-7 their last 10 to not so good teams.

Sure you could stay away but with so many trainwrecks in one game its too juicy to do so

Yea good point, i watched some of the royals game last night, watched 2 batters work the count for like 15 minutes against lyles and finally hit singles, so 2 men on, 2 outs, and Alex Gordon comes up and takes a weak little swing on the first pitch he gets, and hits a stupid little grounder right at the pitcher. At least take a full swing at it

Franceur thinks it's his pitch every pitch. Moustakis is awful. But still hoping they get 4 or more off Blanton tonight.

I'd say the Angels are worse given their expectations. Santana can be a rollercoaster but Blanton is pretty much always terrible. GL w/ your bets.

Angels have been a terrible hitting team 90% of this season going against 2.xx ERA and Royals cant hit. Total isnt "easy"

If I had to bet this game I'd take probably take the UNDER 8.5. There haven't been more than 7 runs scored in any of Santana's starts so far this year, and the Royals are 0-3 in Santana's last 3 starts which makes argument against playing KC on the ML.
