    O's Get Nod Over Yanks

The Orioles go after Mike Mussina for a second time tonight, and the value's too good to pass up

    By: Mike Rose

Wins have been few and far between for the O's of late, but they did manage to take one game from the Yanks in their last series.

That one win was against Mussina who they knocked around for six hits and three earned runs en route to the 5-0 shutout. In fact, the O's have won the game Moose has started against them four of the last five times.

Needless to say he doesn't intimidate them, and their bats should be ready to go once again after posting solid run totals in each of their last two games in Boston.

Eric Bedard hasn't gotten the run production he got earlier in the season, and has lost two starts in a row because of it. Still, his stuff has been nasty since early June where he rattled off wins and was one of the league's hottest pitchers at the time.

With the way the O's hit righties, and the fact Bedard has been solid the last few months, I see tremendous value with the visitor this evening.

    Play: Baltimore +155

Yanks are scary...this one is a pass for me. I do like Bedard and have won a few dollars betting the under in his last few starts, but to me this one has "Yankee Spankee" written all over it.
