Thanks, JB. I might add another unit to it later. Gausman's not nearly as bad as his early # indicate and he had a solid start in his only home appearance. I'm not a huge Doubront fan, and their bullpen speaks for itself.

NC, these A's remind me of the 84 Tigers...just do not give up...pro-players with that college-player effort

btw...u watching any of the CollegeWorldSeries on now...what MarchMadness is to NBA...CWS is to MLB (in other words WAY the fak more entertaining cuz the players are all playing their hearts out like there's no tomorrow, in every situation, on every play)...

rare in the pro's...the 84 tigers had "it"...this year's A's have it too (i remember all the sharps fading their season-total cuz last year they were "lucky"...the luck caused by playing all out all season...they're gonna be lucky again and outperform again this season)

damn it's hard to bet agains a team like these A's that don't just play like they "want to" win...they play like they "have to" win...

The Cubs went from +118 to +110 in a minutes just now but I'm not buying it. I think Marcum gets his first win.

Jackson sucks but the time I go against him he will probably throw a no hitter.

I'm through trying to figure Edwin Jackson out, and who knows if Marcum will be sober. That's one of those games that should be 10-8 but will probably end up 3-2.

i think muts prob worth a play but im terrible judging teams that have just played stl for some reason..marcum should cause the scrubbies problems and from what i saw of muts they were hitting fastballs hard vs stl and edwins isnt al that special and he throws it a lot that i can remember..

yea it hard enough to get 1 right let alone 2, lol.. i mean in this case wouldnt be the worst thing as think you can get plus on both..not as in love w kc @ +150 as i was +170 obviously, and really dont like being on the side of these line moves lately cause beating the closer hasnt really translated into any sort of winning going back to middle of last season..

no kidding i've been torched in may. plus you got these public teams like the yankees getting cheap prices and cashing on a regular basis. good luck to bank and keep up the good work nc. prob the best place to have a good baseball discussion around here.

so glad that i have figured this out about myself the last yr or so as used to cost me money regularly..honestly no idea why it is so? i mean w/o soundy cocky think i have about as good a read of stl as anybody does of a team but my perception is always wrong of the team they finish a series with whether i be too high or too low on said team it usually the opposite..maybe i should start fading my thoughts of that team instead of just passing!

It's better than never getting a read on your own squad, which is how I feel at times with the Tigers.

He's always had + stuff, and he's still very young. I just don't know. He's a big hit or miss given how his sinnker is working, so it's never really easy to get a read. In a lot of ways, he was a bigger prospect than Verlander coming up.
