Thought I'd throw this question out to all you more experienced players.
At what point is it worth it to look at playing the run line on a heavy favourite? For instance right now on Pinnacle the Mets are -151 on the ML and -1.5 +142 on the RL.
To me that's a huge swing in value for them to score one extra run. Of course I'm relatively new to betting bases.
Is there value in playing the runline this way or will this strategy eventually eat your bankroll? And how great does the difference between the ML and RL to make it worthwhile in the long run?
