Sportsbooks have the AFC South as a two-way race between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, which is fitting considering they've finished one-two in the division each of the past two years.

Then, there's a steep dropoff to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans, as both teams are in varying stages of a rebuild.

Here are the division odds at CaesarsDraftKings, and FanDuel Sportsbooks, followed by a burning question for each team in the AFC South.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts should be in the playoff conversation all season, and on paper, there's enough talent and depth to win the AFC South. Bringing in veteran quarterback Matt Ryan also gives the offense stability it hasn't had since Andrew Luck retired ahead of the 2019 season.

Indianapolis finished second in the league in turnovers last season, so adding veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore gives the defense additional swagger and clout.

Can the Colts go toe-to-toe with the AFC heavyweights and make a postseason run, or is making an appearance in Super Wild Card Weekend their peak?

Tennessee Titans

Despite earning the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs last season, the Titans aren't the favorite to win their division this year.

Additionally, there's been limited offseason turnover, with sending wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles standing as the lone notable move.

Head coach Mike Vrabel has done a tremendous job leading Tennessee to consecutive division titles, and the Titans also pulled off a couple of impressive postseason upsets in 2019.

Still, even if the Titans are better than the sum of their parts under Vrabel, are they a legitimate threat to win a playoff game in 2022?

Jacksonville Jaguars

It's easy to throw shade at the Jaguars, and the organization has struggled to get out of its own way. Signing wide receiver Christian Kirk to a massive contract sticks out as a prime and recent example.

Franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence should take a step forward in his second season with improved weapons surrounding him - and the Jaguars added two gifted athletes in the draft in Travon Walker and Devin Lloyd, to help their defense. So, it's not all dire.

With critical pieces in place, how long will it take for Jacksonville to flirt with a winning season?

Houston Texans

Houston is in a complete rebuild following the trade of quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns for a slew of draft picks.

While pundits praised the Texans' haul in the 2022 NFL Draft, the organization still has oodles of work ahead.

Half of Houston's four wins came against the Jaguars last season, and Jacksonville is arguably the better team on paper entering 2022.

So, how quickly can the Texans find their new franchise quarterback to solidify their rebuild?
