    Berdych Throwing Match Against Davydenko!!!
Already broken twice down 0-4 in the first set I might be done with tennis after this...this line was one of the most shadiest tennis fixes you will ever see...unreal books are going to get slaughtered on all the heavy Davydenko action!!!

Would love to know how a dude who is 7-0 lifetime against his opponent can be listed at an underdog and win single handedly again...I seriously hope Vegas got smashed up big time on this match I know there are a ton of Joe Publics out there who unloaded on this stupid gift wrapped line they put on Davydenko as a dog!!!

PS - As I am typing this Berdych just got broken for the 3rd time in the match and lost the first set 6-1....LOLOLOLOLOL...I know there are a a BOATLOAD of people around the world who are going to be collecting HUGE on this match....Vegas literally gave away free money on him...I hope they get ****ED for putting out this bogus line!!!

I wish you had told us this before the match started, but I bet Davydenko anyway.

How do you explain the line? Why would books have such a shady line? Normally you'd expect Davydenko to throw it in this situation.

        The line movement was significant.

On bodog, for example, it started at Berdych -140 and Davydenko even, I believe.

When it closed today, it was flipped. Davydenko was -140.

Nobody loses a fixed match with 1-6 1-6. Especially nobody ranked 22.

This was an easy bet. The clearly better player opened as an underdog.

Davydenko supposedly had a wrist injury beforehand, but then news came out it was fine. Lines then reverted to the norm, and given Davydenko always destroys Berdych it was inevitable everybody would absolutely lump on that side.

Thx for the info. This would explain the weird line movement before the match. Where is the best source to find these kind of informations?

The commentators on TV knew it, but that was minutes before the match. I presume it leaks out to "interested parties" earlier than that - and we know the Davydenko>gambling lines of communication are particularly efficient :-)

The wrist injury excuse on the line is complete bullshit in my opinion. The wrist injury wasn't a problem against Ljubicic, so there were no concerns coming into this match. If you look at it, Davydenko didn't have great form prior to the injury & had a spot at Shanghai wrapped up. His motivation was certainly a question for this tournament plus his form vs. Ljubicic wasn't great. Books may have overestimated Berdych's value for two wins here (I did too) when setting it, but the line movement was made by people who looked at the head-2-head. Davydenko has never lost to Berdych and pretty much anyone looking to make a bet without even looking at stats would see plus money or even odds on someone who is 7-0 vs. someone else and place a wager. You get enough money in on that and the line swings.

I don't see where this one had any hint of fixing. Berdych was horrible. Davydenko was not. It's not like Berdych had been dominating people before this match.
