This starts before Midnight ET I believe.
Kanepi -140 vs. Razzano
Kanepi should be brimming with confidence. She took out Chakvetadze in the opener & she beat her opponent tonight in Beijing last month for the first time in four career tries. That surface I believe played faster than the Tokyo surface. Razzano whooped Ai Sugiyama, but that has been the case her entire career. Her form prior to that opening win was just not there with only a handful of hard court matches during the summer. I like Kanepi to battle through here and get to the Round of 16.
Several other intriguing matches, including the return of Ana Invanovic to take on Nadia Petrova. I really would like to take Petrova at + money in this one, but if Ana is healthy (she says she is) - she should take this & I think really come here with a point to prove after the horrible US Open exit.
Schiavone at + money over Srebotnik also worth a long look, but having trouble pulling the trigger.
