Well I said I wouldn't bet on the Olympic tennis matches because of the variables compared to normal ATP matches - but I find this one just too dumb for me to pass up.



Cilic +145 over Fernando Gonzalez

Unimpressed with Gonzalez on hard courts this season while Cilic has had a decent run of it lately. Cilic also fought through a tough 3 setter which either makes him tougher for this one or too tired? This is one of those "value" things where I think it's closer to EVEN, so I take the dog and watch the cash burn. Good luck!

i always make silly bets every any time i am having a good run, i get nervious any time i am running a hot streak.

Turned out to be just as stupid as I thought. At least I balanced it out with an under hit in the US basketball game. Definitely no more Olympic tennis - stupid stupid!

dude how many bets on average are you running per day? olympics basketball under that is a strech.

Yesterday, I did three. Two tennis. OVER on Dodgers/Phillies. Today, I did the two Olympic bets & will do the two tennis wagers. That's actually alot more than I usually do. Usually 2 bets per day MAX, but I just felt good yesterday.

USA basketball UNDER I felt was a sucker, but good play. Angola only had 66 against Germany and US limited China to 70. Felt if they kept Angola in the 60s, the under would cash. Angola scored more, but the US scored less than I planned with 97.

the reason i am asking was, i tried to do multiple sports and just realize i am just scratching the surface and kind of spreading myself thin with horriable results, my god i will never touch soccer ever again.

but now i am concetrating mostly on atp and seem to do ok with that.

i am going to take another stab at college football and basketball in the fall.

gl with your olympic betting i am tempted to go with andreev against nadal pinny +1000, need somebody to talk me out of it!

Yeah I understand with doing too many sports. I limit myself to one baseball play per day and that's it. If I'm in a good groove with tennis, I stick with it mainly. I just won't do the Olympics. I talked myself into that one, but there is really no rhyme or reason to it. Form seems to mean very little in the Olympics until perhaps the last few matches. Just my perspective there. Hey if you've got a little money to toss around, I say it's worth the risk if you really like one.

I really want to pull the trigger again on one of these, but I won't do it in the Olympics again.

Monfils (Nalbandian), Mathieu (Kiefer) or Youhzny (Djokovic) - one dog has his day tomorrow. Mathieu would rank #1 possibility, Monfils #2 & Youhzny the longer shot at #3. A gentleman's wager with myself.
