I think it's about right. Considering Djokovic dropped sets to Bellucci & Ferrer last week and the law of averages ... books are protecting themselves.

Soderling is a good player. I don't think the line should be higher. Remember, Soderling beat Rafa on clay.

I agree - I think the line is pretty spot on.

That being said, if I was the type to make crazy bets like this, I'd lay the chalk on Djokovic. I also agree with reformed about the under but I'm staying away from that as I'm shocking at totals.

I know soderling is a good player but he has not been in good form recently. This line is basically banking on joker having a bad day or getting tired.

To a certain extent yes, but it's just like every other line in non Slams - books base a lot on the H2H and the ranking. Their most recent match-up, Sod won. On a different surface but lazy ass linesmakers responsible for tennis lines in smaller tourneys, don't necessarily care. Their last clay match, Sod took a set. Djoko's ranked 2 in the world, Sod 5. You'd very rarely see a $1.10 or less line under these circumstances. Maybe Fed in his prime, Nadal as well. RG finalist 2 years in a row, losing to Fed and Nadal vs a guy who hasn't made it past the RG quarters.

The good thing is if you like Djoko, you're getting the best line on him so far this tourney.
