CONTEST RULES

ENTRY FEE is due upon submission of your entry via PM to EaglesPhan36 or earlier. Any entry that is not paid for upon submission WILL NOT count toward the contest

NON-PROS may enter for a two point entry fee. PROS may enter for a ten point entry fee. Prize payouts will be paid out according to your status as a NON-PRO or PRO. Will explain this after all entries are submitted.

All lines are from 5Dimes and only those listed below count towards this contest.

ENTRY DEADLINE is Thursday, March 10th at NOON ET.

CONTEST FORMAT/SCORING

All entrants are to select five dogs that you think will win.

Each correct prediction nets you 25 points. Each incorrect prediction sees you lose ten points. bonus points are applied for each winner by multiplying your 25 points * the price of the dog. Example: If you select a +125 dog that wins. You get a 31.25 pt. bonus.

Correctly picking three or more dogs nets you an additional bonus as follows: 75 pts for three correct. 150 pts for four correct. 300 pts. for five correct.

The 1st tie breaker is most correct picks. The 2nd tie breaker is the highest correctly priced dog chosen. The 3rd tie breaker will be based on bonus points accumulated. If those don't settle it, then points will be split.

ONCE THURSDAYS ORDER OF PLAY IS POSTED, I WILL GET THE LINES UP ASAP. THIS IS A ONE-DAY CONTEST FOR THURSDAY ONLY.

Okay, 66 points total in the prize pool. This is winner take-all. If a PRO wins, he wins all 66 points. If a NON-PRO wins, he wins a pro-rated amount equal to 25% of the 66 points or 16 points. The remaining 50 points will then be available on Friday in a Tennis-related online scavenger hunt.

I think it's only fair that those who pay the smaller fee, get the smaller return on the points if they win. The scavenger hunt will only be open to the people who participate in today's contest. I will announce more about that if necessary. Weird enough? Hope so.

I guess technically if it was split, it would have been 8 to him and 33 to you. I was trying to just give the total pot out without having to do anything post-contest. If you want 16 points, I'll give it to you during the week when I have more to spare.

I'm just thinking that it doesn't make sense for a non-pro to get the same whether it's an outright win or a tie for the top.
