I think if I were a betting kind of girl, at this price Somdev is the play. Very, very, very silly odds here. Being at home is great and all but the crowd doesn't control your racquet or that of your opponent.

please do not bet Somdev Dev Varman he is the biggest choke in the game, Anderson will win this one no problem.

Somdev Dev Varman has stung me in the past losing to far worse than Kevin Anderson.

Tennis is my main trading/betting sport and he is one on my list to avoid touching with a 50 foot barge pole!!!

I promise you al, tennis is my main sport too and while many occupy my list ie Chardy, Querrey, Andreev, Istomin, Oudin, any French player, Somdev isn't up there yet. I'm not saying he'll win but at this price it should either be him or no play. There are no calculations in the world that should support Kevin here. everyone is entitled to there opinion so we will agree to disagree.

I think this match is a no play as I dont trust Somdev, but I also wouldnt be touching Anderson at the current odds, I dont bet as low as that.

if Anderson was to lose the 1st set, id pile in, so ill just monitor the score.

think straight sets Anderson win though

The odds are begging you to take Somdev yet his price keeps going up and up - Anderson has been beating higher quality opponents and it's on his home turn - he rolls comfortably here.

Unfortunately the odds suck, so Anderson is only good for a parlay, which I'm doing with some superbowl bets.

Good work Allan, wish I'd waited too, but I've only got Anderson in a parlay. Must say he hasn't started well, getting a high % of first serves in but losing more than he would usually - very early days though.

Reg - just watching stream on bwin and says that it is due to resume before 5:15pm local time, or in the next 30 mins.

even the best players are slow starters, nadal has went breaks down a good few times, the market just totally overreacts to this and this is when we need to get stuck in.

anderson's odds to win the first set are good, wait till Devvarman makes it 3-1, its currently 40-15.its only 1 break of serve.

ill put maybe $50 on Anderson to win 1st set.

Not looking good for Anderson, and Somdev is serving incredibly well, keeping up 75% of first serves in and hitting them with accuracy down the line and going wide. Getting to halfway into the second set he actually has more aces right now than Anderson - could have got 100:1 odds on that before the game.

You were right on the money with this match Shari, should have stayed away from KA even as part of my parlays.

Somdev Dev Varman is choking it like he always does, i did say he does this, anderson 5-2 ahead in 2nd set, only one winner, im on at near evens so come on anderson.

Anderson won the 2nd set.Devvarman doesn't even have a chance to win the 3rd. Anderson's serve is just way too big for Somdev to handle. Shouldn't have gone against a guy who is playing in front of his home crowd.

Good recovery by Anderson. In the early going he had pressure on nearly every service game while Devvarman was winning some easy ones. Things tightened up in the second and Anderson got one crucial break which determined the set. Even at that point though it seemed that anytime a long rally started the advantage was in the Indians' court, and serving first in the 3rd was to his advantage. I had to sleep and couldn't watch the end of the game, but looks like Anderson completely steamrolled him from that point on. Tough break for those on the +4.5 games - that bet didn't deserve to lose.

Thankfully all my crazy parlays with the superbowl are alive and well. I'm going for the over 44, hope everyone enjoys the game!
