Don't see Jurgen with much chance to trouble Fed on this quick surface. I watched their match at the US Open and Melzer just doesn't have a big enough serve ... I think the +/- 5 is about right here. Don't see an edge as I could see an identical scorline from the Fed-Steps match today resulting in a push.

Melzer has played poorly all tournament. He has absolutely no chance to win. I would never take him on the games line either because he will not take a set and will at the very best push Federer.

maybe since the opposite is true (he can't qualify for London) then you need to do the opposite pick and take fed -5?? not really serious here....i don't see a clear play in the handicap. but i do see fed winning probably in straights.

roger almost played as badly as he could IMO, missing alot of shots against stepanek and still won by 5 games.

Rivals my Chardy one. I'll be clearing the slate on him when this season ends though. Won't bet on him early, but won't hold 2010 against him. Same with Cilic. Miserable 2010, but talent is there and you have to change opinions from year to year.
