Those on live betting made a fortune on another apparent fix.

Not even close to a fix and there was no live betting patterns to indicate it. Not even in the slightest, teeniest amount. If you've watched this match from the beginning, the momentum shift was clear as day in the 2nd set and the better player has finally stepped up and did what he should've been doing for the past couple of months.

Verdasco has been going for winners the whole time and trying to dominate with his serve - hence the early number of DFs. Clement was always one thread away from double faulting, both yesterday and today, and it finally started happening. Once Verdasco realised to stop playing to Clement's damn forehand and aimed for his backhand it was over.

Shari most of the fixes don't occur at live online betting sportsbooks. There are millions of money being bet in the black market with Mafia.

That match looked like the whole thing was orchestrated. Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist but that shit was fixed. I didn't have a penny on it by the way. Looked like Clement and Verdasco was both in on that. Or it could just be one of those matches. Either way a lucky break for Verdasco backers and one hell of a bad beat for those on Clement.

Pavy, did you watch that match from start to finish and Clement's match against Lopez yesterday? If you did, you would not be saying this at all. I'm sorry but in this one anyone complaining about tanking or fixing is wrong and I didn't have one penny on this match.

Clement is 33. He can't play over 2.5 hours then another 3 setter less than 24hrs later.
No sign of a fix at all. Even if there were secret invisible mafia bookies that were happy to be ripped off for millions (seriously?), they would be balancing their books via pinnacle/betfair, and you'd see the effect.

This match was not a fix at all. I watched the whole thing and once Verdasco broke back in the second set the match was over. The games just went too long for a tired Clement, coupled with Verdasco settling down into the match instead of going for huge winners.

33 is not that old for tennis. It's easier to make money these days with illegal gambling. Pays for the Christmas shopping this time of the year. Clement is a smart player at this age and is looking out for his future.
