I don't think there is anyone left in this tourny that could beat Baghdatis.

It's his for the taking. If he can survive a set of 'tennis' he displayed vs Chela, he surely can win this thing. Yesterday he looked like he knew he is 5x better than Chela but wanted the match to last more than 45 minutes.

You know, getting ready for 5 setters the next week. I might back Marcus to win every next match by two sets to one.

Biggest factor is whether or not he wants to be playing through Sunday. I thought he'd come here willing to play deep into the tourney to build his fitness, but now it's anyone's guess what happens.

Ah, the fine line between fitness building and getting fatigued.

He's played a lot recently, far more than is ideal for US Open preparation.

I had a small punt on baghdatis to win it 2-1. Liked it pregame - because of the +350. Didn't like it much after the first set. Loved it after the second set. Should have bet the over too!

I'm sorry to see him go. Could definitely see Baghdatis win the tournament after a series of three setters, a-la Querrey a while ago (washington?)

He looked good in the early matches. I thought he was possibly in it to win it. Wouldn't go against him today, but couldn't find 1 good reason to back him either. Considered him for a parlay and gladly left him out.
