Wozniacki took a medical timeout at 3-4 in the first set and said "My back felt stiff, so I had to get it warmed up," after the match..i dont think she's gonna force this match before US Open

the thing is you me and the rest of the world are on Pennetta, which always spells trouble. and if you look in Sharis thread she has a chance of a million bucks if she wins this match and then the US open.
I got same info to say she is not right and will not put up a fight, but a million bucks is a million bucks. so I have gone from large stakes on Pennetta to medium stakes on Pennetta

maybe best to avoid the match altogether when there's so much noise...

Hard to bet alot of these matches recently. Lots of line movement is occuring in matches before the first ball is even being hit and surprise surprise, the line movement usually moves in the direction of the eventual winner once the match begins. Not sure if it's people knowing inside knowledge about a particular players injury or if its just the player trying to profit on the match him/herself but it is making it really hard to bet these matches lately. Best bet is to always skip these pilot pen type tournaments and save your money for the majors.
Also, why are these players playing a tournament the week before the US Open. It's not worth risking injury this week when the big payday is next week. Of course if you are a player like Stepanek and know that you won't make it far at the us open then these tournaments the week before are a good way for them to make money since most of the good players are passing on the tournaments. For players like Wozniacki and Dementieva, they should be skipping this though

Wozniacki needed to play this week and make it to the Semis in order to potentially win the US Open Series bonus. A million dollars is a big incentive to any player, but especially one at her stage in her career.
As for Dementieva, if she's to have any shot of winning next week (which I personally don't think she has at all), she needed the match play to attempt to find some sort of form after coming back from injury.
