    How can Isner be +160???
Yeah I know Dave is killing people right now,but Big John on his surface with that serve??

This play more than anyone today jumped out at me...Anyone else think the same thing?

Because public have been pounding on Big Dave since he opened at -140. Now the price has jumped. A lot of people are on Dave bandwagon right now.

Cause Isner is a one trick pony. And anyone w/ a well rounded game (Dave included) can whoop on him just as they would Ivo Karlovic.

Because Nalbandian is super hot, good service returner to handle with Isner big gun serve

          Fair odds

don't forget isner is coming off some shoulder injury, nalbandian is one of the best returners in the game. we've seen what hewitt has done to isner, price is real fair

This is a solid thread...I was wondering the same thing. Good responses, keeps me off this bet that I was 50/50 on putting a little on Isner.

Look at the Soderling match last week for what you might expect today. Isner obviously is not quite as complete as Soderling, but they both do some of the same things and rely heavily on their serves and big forehands to get points. If Isner wasn't an assmunch who was content to just serve, serve, serve and try to win a tie break - I'd rate him a better shot here. I just don't think Isner works hard enough to construct points and if his serve gets returned any by Nalbandian, I'd expect him to get frustrated.

Isner retires ahead 5-4 in the 1st. Anyone see what happened? Guessing shoulder problems maybe again or did he injury something else?

Was a bit of a freak one, he just reacted upwards on a return, foot came down, twisted it. Wasn't moving sideways at all.

Looked like he was going to win too - he was overwhelming Nalby's return abilities, firing a huge first serve %, and had broken early.
