        No kidding.

Shows you how bad Rochus' rep is now that they're finally looking into this one.

hahah this was so obvious, wonder if the bookies faked it with soeda/dabul to get back at them?

              This.

There's been a few retirements that have been questionable... some players must bet lots of money on themselves and retire if they lose. This MUST happen. If not them betting the money on themselves, I'm sure relatives and friends are all betting on them...

I'd still like to know who made the killing off the Dabul-Soeda line in this tournament when Soeda went from a dog to a -350 favorite and LOST. I still think there was like a small group of people who bet Dabul and made a fortune.

Not surprised.Funny thing is, wasn't one of the Rochus brothers in a suspicious match a year or two ago when they retired on match point or something like that. I remember something happened with a Rochus brother.

Funny thing is I remeber Bloomfield involved in such a thing couple of years ago. It was first round of Wimbledon and he was playing some clay courter and he won like 1,3 and 2 but huge money was bet on him at plus money. Could have been the other guy though.

Carlos Berlocq at Wimbledon 2006. What are the parallels - that was his first ATP level win. This was his second. You be the judge.

                        Yeah, it was him.

It's the loser that should be investigated though in these cases.

It's smart just bet vs yourself and lose if your a big favorite. Easiest money eve as long as you don't get caught.

It would be done via utterly unconnected third parties surely - rumour has it certain characters follow the tour and "arrange" these things.

Exactly, you can do it in about every sport. Im sure it happens in tennis a bit, the problem is these crooks get greedy, so when they see a total of 1.5 mil wagered on a very low profile match its gonna raise suspicion, greed always gets the best of them.
